What did they do?
Often I am asked, "So what did they do to fix Jack's heart?"
I reply first, with "they didn't FIX his heart... they made modifications." If they were able to "fix" it, then life post Fontan would be much easier, not to mention sleeping... living and dreaming. Jack's heart is not fixed, it isn't complete, but it is sustained. A friend of mine has her baby in surgery right this very moment, receiving his Fontan. She posted this video to help explain the surgery to her family and friends. I agree with her when I say it is one of the best explanations.
